Go ahead and overindulge on dessert and wine: this is one vacation where pounds won't matter. The Zero-G Experience lets you get a taste of true weightlessness, allowing you to float, flip, and soar as if you were in space.
From the comforts of the Four Points by Sheraton Cocoa Beach, you'll head to Cape Canaveral, home of the Kennedy Space Center - and the location of your own out-of-this-world experience. Once there, you'll climb to 24,000 feet in a specially modified Boeing 727 and begin your adventure: 20-30 second bursts of zero gravity created each time the plane performs a parabolic arc. The specially trained pilots make the maneuver by pulling up, slowly increasing the plane's angle to 45 degrees as it climbs to 34,000 feet. During the process, you'll feel a strong pull - but once the plane "pushes over" the arc, you'll experience zero gravity. Your Zero-G flight will feature 12 to 15 of these parabolas, for an approximate weightless time of eight minutes. If that doesn't sound like quite enough, you can opt for the Platinum Experience, which gives you 40% more floating space and two extra parabolas, for another full minute of floating through the air. You'll likely never want to come down, but the Regravitation Celebration awaiting you - where you'll enjoy refreshments and receive your pre-flight photos - helps ease the blow.
