Kuala Lumpur offers so many dining options, as the city's eclectic mix of Malay, Chinese and Indian cultures are available in restaurants around the city. As an Australian, you know we love a good BBQ and a great steak. At Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur, you can enjoy PRIME, KL's only international steak restaurant.
The finest imported beef is available in a number of different cuts. I will be biased and say that the Australian beef is of course the best! 80, 120 and 200 day aged steaks are available from Black Angus along with Japanese and Wagyu beef. The daily changing variety of breads and butter are a great way to start your night. Recently while dining, I was served a chili focaccia with a selection of salted, green tea and bbq butters. Don't forget to order a side of the truffle mashed potatoes - yum! A caesar salad is also available as an appetizer and prepared table-side.
The oversized chairs and show kitchen set the ambience of the restaurant, as a chandelier made of wine glasses lights the room. While the menu is expansive, enroll the help of the restaurant staff to guide you through the different cuts of meat. Bon appetit!

I had dinner last evening at PRIME. I must concur that the truffle potato ravioli starter is yumalicious and can't be missed! :-)
