The Freddie Awards, created by InsideFlyer Magazine publisher Randy Petersen, is considered to be the highest honor in frequent traveler programs. Voting for the member-generated awards is determined by the overall rating of each program and favors quality feedback over quantity voting. This year, 707,069 of the world's most frequent travelers voted from over 212 countries in competition. We're most excited to announce that SPG remains undefeated in the Program of the Year in the Asia Pacific region and now has four wins in five years as Program of the Year in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. This award for overall excellence in service is the Freddie's highest honor and we thank all of our members that voted.

I am a SPG gold member and voted for Starwood. I have been a member for 10 years and every year staying at the various hotels from the Four Points, W, Sheraton and Westin. I can say that Starwood have done so many work to improve their hotel experience for their hotel guest. No surprise that SPG would win in so many categories. An award well deserved from those of us, that experience this service and can honestly say. "Yes Freddie you got it right this time."
