I'll admit it, I'm a sucker for a good view, which is why I'm particularly charmed by the Azrieli Observatory. Located on the 49th floor of the Azrieli Center's Circular building (the other buildings are Square and Triangular), the Azrieli Observatory offers unparalleled views of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa area, and the mountains and sea beyond. And if you're not already familiar with the layout of the city and geography of the area, special telescopes and personal audio devices are available to help you identify and understand what you're seeing. Since one doesn't want to take in the view on an empty stomach, there's also a gourmet restaurant and bar in the sky called 2C that offers Mediterranean cuisine and vistas that just won't quit. It's a great way to get your bearings before exploring this exciting town from ground level. Down on the third floor of the Azrieli Mall, meanwhile, visitors will find the Total Tel Aviv Experience, a gripping 3-D film that explains the history of Tel Aviv, from its early days to the present. Starwood has two hotels in Tel Aviv: the Sheraton Moriah Tel Aviv and the Sheraton Tel Aviv Hotel and Towers.
