This beautiful 10,000-acre green space houses the country's foremost collection of outdoor figurative sculpture, with 1,200 pieces by some of the most renowned American artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. The park was the brainchild of Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington, who opened it in 1931, creating the first large-scale public outdoor sculpture garden in the country.
