To Do This Weekend: VegFest Seattle

vegfestsample250.jpgGuests enjoying the W Seattle this weekend will want to check out VegFest 2007, a vegetarian food festival run by Vegetarians of Washington. The event, which will be held at Seattle Center's Exhibition Hall this Saturday and Sunday, is one of the biggest and best of its kind. Eaters--even non-vegetarians, though subscribing to the diet certainly helps--can enjoy an enormous array of food samples and take in cooking demonstrations and advice from dieticians. Lest you think this is some sort of weight loss fair, don't forget at just how much food will be there. The veggie delights will come in all sorts of ethnic food varieties, including Mexican, Middle Eastern, and "everything in between." Carnivores looking for a break after the festivities can dig into some of the excellent seafood at Earth & Ocean, which just happens to be located right at the W.
