
As Dallas emerges as the type of city where different neighborhoods offer totally different experiences, it's becoming more viable as a tourist destination. The Dallas Arts District, for example, contains internationally famous pieces by artists from I.M. Pei to Georgia O'Keeffe, from Miro to Giacometti. The W Dallas - Victory is, according to this guide, the best hotel in the area. The Ghost Bar on the top floor is one of the hottest nighlife spots in town, and it's joined at the hotel by Craft, a highly regarded restaurant by celebrity chef Tom Colicchio. Perfect after a day of, say, touring the huge Dallas Art Museum.
