Opening May 4 is the new Sheraton Philadelphia City Center Hotel, formerly the Wyndham Philadelphia at Franklin Plaza. Primarily catering to biz travelers -- it's just four blocks from the Pennsylvania Convention Center -- the hotel is also quite convenient to Philly's historical and cultural attractions, such as the Franklin Institute Science Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art, National Constitution Center, and Independence Hall. In addition to a lobby bar, casual cafe, and meat-happy Shula's steakhouse, there's also a new Club Lounge. Beds have been upgraded to Sheraton Sweet Sleepers, and all rooms have WiFi net access. The indoor pool, workout room, jogging path, and 24-hour business center should occupy any free time not spent on the job or relaxing en suite.
