One more travel tech story of interest. All-things oligarchially luxurious blog Luxist tipped us off to the existence of something we need like we've never needed anything before: An in-car espresso machine. Audi's new concept car, the Roadjet, features an espresso maker that is built into the front armrest between the driver seat and passenger seat. Alas, it won't make cappucinos, lattes or any other milk-requiring drinkbut as Luxist points out, scalding milk in a hot car is a bad idea. Presumably, small thimblefuls of espresso are far less dangerous for the road, which is something we'd be inclined to agree with from our past overnight road trips. Although the Roadjet was designed mainly for wowing auto show journalists, both the car stereo and the digital dashboard both made their debuts as extra features on concept cars. And we're willing to bet it will taste better than rest stop coffee too.
