Zagat just released their list of America's Top 100 Hotel Restaurants and Mary Elaine's at The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona, made number 14. A member of the Luxury Collection family, the Phoenician is used to prestigious dining awards. Mary Elaine's also won a 2005 AAA Five Diamond Award and the Terrace Dining Room received four diamonds. But here's what "Zagat" had "to say":
Setting the standard for a “special-occasion” experience, this “elegant”, “ultrafancy” room at The Phoenician is where the city views are “heavenly”, the wine list “extraordinary” and Bradford Thompson’s “exquisite” New French fare way up there with “the best in the country”; the “unparalleled” service (No. 1 in AZ) “anticipates every desire”, so even though you’ll need to bring “buckets of cash”, it’s “more than worth it.”
