San Diego’s legendary US Grant Hotel, a city landmark, has been closed for renovations over the past few months, however, the San Diego business newspaper The Daily Transcript recently offered a sneak peak of the new hotel.

So what is inside US Grant's hotel? New additions include rooftop gardens, individualized artwork in every room, plasma televisions in every room, full WiFi and 35,000 square feet worth of event space. The hotel was purchased by the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation in 2003 and is managed by Starwood as part of the Luxury Collection.
